Tiefenbacher Group International Social Day

Last week marked a very special moment for all of us at Tiefenbacher Group. It was our very first international SocialDay.

Across all our locations, from Hamburg to Hyderabad to Nicosia, hundreds of colleagues stepped out of their daily routines to support meaningful social, environmental, and community initiatives. Whether helping at Katholische Kindertagesstätte St.Marien, Millerntor Gallery, Tafel Buxtehude, alsterdorf assistenz ost, Kinder-Hospiz Sternenbrücke, or volunteering with Hanseatic Help e.V., DER HAFEN HILFT! e. V., Green Kayak, the Cyprus Red Cross Society, ΟΚΥπΥ – State Health Services Organisation , Hamburger Tierschutzverein von 1841 e.V., and Sri Vidhas Centre for Special Children. Each contribution has made a real difference and shown what it means to live our values and take responsibility beyond the workplace.

Continuing a Tradition of Caring

Taking on social responsibility is a core aspect of the Tiefenbacher Group’s culture. We will continue to support charitable activities, education programs, and community engagement efforts that align with our values.

Looking Back and Moving Forward

Our journey began in 2022 with a successful Clean Up Day, where we cleared 100 kilograms of garbage from a small area in Hamburg. In 2023, we expanded this initiative by launching the first Tiefenbacher Social Day, giving all our Hamburg employees the chance to support social projects with their colleagues.

The Second Tiefenbacher Social Day

Last year, the second Tiefenbacher Social Day commenced, offering a variety of projects for our employees to choose from. These projects ranged from environmental protection to supporting aid organizations and social institutions such as hospices, retirement homes, and services for the homeless and refugees.

Making a Valuable Contribution

There are countless projects that do incredible work but often lack the necessary budget or rely heavily on volunteers. By dedicating our time and efforts on this special day, we at the Tiefenbacher Group can help bring these projects to life, making a valuable contribution to people, the environment, and society.
